institutions, which includes Salesforce.org
Payment Services and Giving Pages. Lori has an extensive nonprofit
background, from serving as executive director, to board member, to
volunteer fundraiser. She currently serves on the board of ArtReach, a
nonprofit that takes visual art to under-served children in San Diego. She
has nearly 10 years of nonprofit payments expertise and has presented in
nonprofit conferences and webinars on payments, data hygiene and
sustaining donor programs. Lori earned her MBA at Loyola Marymount
University in Los Angeles.
Sterrin Bird
Ms. Bird joined Salesforce in July 2020 after spending
nearly 27 years in the nonprofit sector.
Ms. Bird has dedicated her career responding to the extraordinary need
she recognized for nonprofit organizations to have access to the affordable and
creative experience and counsel necessary to scale their advancement operations
in support of their mission. Ms. Bird
partners with organizations that desire innovative and breakthrough thinking
relative to fundraising, external relations, branding, marketing and
communications and where she feels she can effect positive change for effective
mission impact.
A nationally recognized leader in the nonprofit community,
Ms. Bird has more than 27 years of experience in service to philanthropy, with
particular emphasis in capital campaigning and major gifts. In the years before becoming a development
officer herself, Ms. Bird was a development consultant at three major international
consulting firms. Ms. Bird has conducted
more than two-dozen capital campaigns throughout the United States with combined
goals in excess of $3.5 billion. Ms. Bird has extensive experience working with
CEO's, non-profit executives, development directors, board chairpersons, and
volunteer & staff leadership within complicated large organizations. She enjoys an excellent record of exceeding
capital goals, is skilled at developing naming opportunities, creating
information flows, and gaining access to key decision-makers and benefactors in
support of the organizations she serves.
